Wisconsin Registry for Alzheimer's Prevention (WRAP)
Eligibility:
- Living in Milwaukee area
- Age 40-89 years old
- No known brain diseases or injuries
Study Activities:
- Cognitive tests
- Biometric measurements
- Blood draw
- PET and MRI
Compensation:
- Up to $220 per study visit (study visits occur every other year)

Microbes and Respiratory Illnesses (MARI)
Eligibility:
- Age 4-12 years old
- Living in Madison area
- Does not have frequent sinus infections
Study Activities:
Study activities will be conducted over the phone, online, in-person at the UW Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin, and at home. Participants will be compensated for their time.
Compensation:
- Up to $225 if your child completes all study activities

Auditory Environments in Children's Homes-AECH
This study is investigating the connection between auditory environments, or the words and sounds kids hear daily, and their language development. It is looking at potential differences in these auditory environments between children with typical hearing and children who are hard of hearing or deaf.
Eligibility
- Eligible age range:
- For children with typical (unaided) hearing: 4 years old – 5 years, 11 months old
- For children with hearing devices:

Enrollment Open Hearing Aid/Bone Anchored: 4 years old – 5 years, 11 months old
- Cochlear Implant: 3 years old – 5 years, 11 months old

- Primary Language: English
- No additional disabilities or neurological conditions
Study activities
- UW-Madison Study Visit (3 – 4 hours):

- Complete language and cognitive assessments.
- Complete Speech-in-Noise testing, matching pictures to recorded sounds.
- Some children will be asked to complete EEG testing while listening to an audio recording.
- Home Noise Recordings:

- Use small devices provided by the study to record the home noise environment for two full days.
Compensation
Participants will receive $140 for home recordings, $50 for a lab visit, and another $50 for an EEG lab appointment and some testing (if eligible), totaling up to $240 for their participation.
